Site Update: Avatars!

Cunning users might have noticed a slight update to the site in the form of avatars on comments.

Wordpress only supports 3rd party avatar services rather than users uploading their avatar directly to the site. The service I have chosen is Gravatar, which stands for globally recognised avatar. Wondering how to add an avatar? The Gravatar site is pretty simple, but here is a quick rundown of the process:

  1. Create a Gravatar account with the same email as you have used for your account here.
  2. Add an avatar to your Gravatar account. Be aware, only PG rated avatars will show up on Darkest Heresy.
  3. Your Gravatar avatar will be used on any site with Gravatar support, including this one!
